justlounging
Hi Rolex experts, I would like to ask if the below dial is a gen 16750 dial...or is it refurnished? Lume is missing on 11 and 12 o'clock markers..back plate has an engraving of '375'... Appreciate if you could provide your feedback/advice. Thanks! Mapman57
Tricky one Not seen one with no inscription at the bottom on the dial - but maybe others have? Print looks odd as well? The gen Beyeler dial from this period would have the B logo and 375 inscription on the back - do you see the B - looks a little like a Breitling logo? Here is my transitional 16750 from mid 1980's (with date on dial).......you can see the B clearly Edited May 4, 2012 by Mapman57
justlounging
hmm fair enough assessment..that's right..i didnt notice that the 't swiss made t' or 'swiss-t<25' wasnt there.. odd thing is it is being sold by a shop that sells all gen watches and have the feedback to back on it..unless the owner knows something i dont? Ronin
The 375 on the back gives the 'blank' a hint of credibility, but honestly, it looks like a very bad re-dial. I would pass.
lionsandtigers
and the placement of the dial feet are also a giveaway. eta written all ova
Valty
100% fake / very bad redial. Just look at the positioning of the dots. All is wrong, not aligned, ... Printings are awful... I'm pretty sure my grand-ma can do better with some tip-ex... You should prefer a "true" aftermarket dial...
