StormTooper4
Stunning idea and execution. I might be tempted to add a bit of colour to the bezel numbers. Seriously impressive
montrealer08
Stunning idea and execution. I might be tempted to add a bit of colour to the bezel numbers. Seriously impressive +1 On the bezel numbers. It's the first time I see a dlc'd 29, very well done !
projectologist
I would really love to see some more pics when you get the chance. Different angles etc. Did you leave the case back un-coated?
ericb196
That's an interesting one. It would be a serious improvement to add a color on the bezel numbers
sgtguk
Understated and great looking piece, not sure I would add anymore colour though fantastic just the way it is ! More pics
babola
Hmm, it certainly adds a bit of a bite to it. Great idea, worth a try for sure. I'd focus on the bezel numerals, If I were you I'd fill them in with semi-matte black paint to match the color and finish of the black dial surface. Give it a try, it will neither hurt nor cost much

paneristi
Very cool project but I think the bezel markers needs to be painted in white/reds and it will be perfect congrats

korneevy
Kind of makes hard ot use the GMT function, dont you think? I use my all the time and would hate to see the bezel numbers covered in same color as bezel. Looks cool though...
w0lf
Lume the numbers with red pigment SL mixed with epoxy.
feefree
I saw that one too... it is a marvelous piece and i would've never guessed that the 029 could stand the challenge of being done in DLC. Nick (DLC Finish Co) made some bold statements with the 359's he had done in the past (am i a lucky owner ) and the weird 351, but this one is something else. I just checked out his FB page (http://www.facebook.com/DLCWatch) and there are lots of pics there. I was trying to get the pics copied for the past half an hour off W-C, so we can have them here and judge the "creation" out loud, and think i figured out a way to do so... The dude is a madman and hands crazy so he has my approval and recommendation every time i here about custom DLC coating.
