redwatch
I found a Jules Jurgensen vintage chrono on eBay last week and for some insane reason I bought it because I liked the look of the date wheel. I only saw one day, the 19th, but something grabbed me about the font of the date wheel. I hit the "Buy Now" button and crossed my fingers...... Well it arrived today and to my surprise I got this:

redwatch
Anyone have any suggestions as far as settings for the 1:1 scan? Resolution? Type of scanner? Should I go to a pro scanning shop or just get an off the shelf scanner and scan it myself?
HauteHippie
Go to a print shop with a quality scanner. Places around here would do something like this for a buck or two.

janeto72
Red, go to a high end printer shop. The best resolution possible at a 1:1 ratio. This means that I will have less work to do if the scan is true 1:1 and i can get a crisp , sharp datewheel fabricated.
