GarrettP1 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 About a week or so ago, someone was inquiring about a vintage Rolex dial. One of you answered with an email address of a dial maker who could make "almost any dial". Can someone steer me in that direction? I lost the post. There's a decent dial maker in Uraguay (of all places), and he'll make me any dial of any vintage I want.....except Rolex. I think he's felt some friction there in the past. I have one of his Breitling vintage pieces, and it's very nice. Thanks, Garrett
Guest zeleni kukuruz Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 It would be nice to see the Breit dial he made you.
ww12345 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I didn't think so - isn't Everest US based? I thought it was Classic Watch Parts, out of like Malaysia...
drury Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Yeah, he's on ebay and will print vintage dials, I forgot the name though ... I'll check my bookmarks
redwatch Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Somewhat along the same lines, but does anyone know who could do a logo print on an already painted dial? I have an homage dial that I want to add a logo to.
GarrettP1 Posted July 21, 2012 Author Report Posted July 21, 2012 The guy from Uraguay is on ebay as "dialfactory". He can put a logo on a dial for you.

panerai153 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Everest is in the USA, and they will not change a dial up, make a Rolex from some other blank, and i do believe that when I looked at their webpage several years ago, they wouldn't even upscale a dial. in that I mean, they won't redo a regular white dial 1680 to a Red sub, or a white 1665 dial to a double red. Most of the mainline dial printers will not make a Rolex dial unless the dial you send in is a rolex dial. Usually, they will redo the dial the same as it comes in to them.
