Franken Aqua Terra?

Anyone done with a 2892-based rep? I'd really like to build one, but not sure if any of the reps are close enough in dimensions to make it work.

The old 39mm rep with serial number engraved on the lug and asian 2892 accepts gen dial and ETA 2892 movements with no issue.

Interesting. I guess by the way you said "old" means that those aren't available. Josh has a couple listed with 2892s at 40mm. I wonder if those would work.

Will work, the A2892 swaps directly and without modification with a genuine cal. 2500 or an ETA 2892.

I call them "old" because they have been available for years and now there are new, worse, versions for sale.

They should be still available somewhere, I know for a fact Josh sold two of them few weeks ago to some RWG buddies.

Yep some old white dial/blue hands available from select dealers (namely josh), great watches to franken, parts are hard to find though....but not impossible
