Mods for Pam 390

This ,IMHO, i one of the best reps out there.

the crownguard is the most visible weakspot. Also, the strap makes the watch. Add a rep or gen Asso

I have a GEN Asso for mine. I also swapped for a GEN CG and an ETA 6497. should be returning from my watchsmith soon. I really have missed.

Defo swap that CG...

You could cut your finger on that lever !!

:)

Apart from that it aint a bad rep OTB... usual small issues that are across the board of these ...

The Zigmeister has for the last year or more been so loaded with work that he only accepts new clients via a personal recommendation from an existing customer. If his PM is turned back on, that's a good sign .. maybe he is accepting new clients.

You would only approach a watchsmith if you know what u want done

You could have The Zigmeister or someone else service the movement and relume the hands and dial but personally find the rep lume perfectly fine and if movement is working fine no need to service right away. You could have him waterproof it I guess?

So why would you want to contact a watchsmith about your watch?

If you want to improve the cg you will need to buy parts to DIY or send to a watchsmith

People like The Zigmeister don't have the parts nor will they buy them or source them for you

I bought an extra noob factory case and cg and switched those onto my 390

Big improvement though not cheap

Easy to do, really don't need a pro like The Zigmeister for this type of swap

If u just get a noob new cg it likely won't fit your 390 h factory case ; That is why I swapped cases instead of just cg

Yep....390N is fine otb but if you're super picky like me there are tons of things that need modding.

Here's what I did:

- Noob case

- Shorter hex crown tube

- OEM crown

- OEM CG

- Sapphire with colorless AR (the original had purple AR)

- DSN 390N hands

- Flattened and polished cannon pinion

As others have said, the noob case and cg is prob the best mod you can do before going overboard. The H factory appears to get the youngest and least sober kids to work on the cg's thus they fall short in terms of quality. I wouldn't really worry about servicing the movement.

Let me buy your watch so you can stop bragging . It's not good for your heart and BTW you need to start a new project :inverted:

are there any diff between the new 111n cg and the 111m cg from noob. Or is that the same [censored]?

Is the h factory lever on the cg better than noobs?

Who is good with CG mods?

I'm sure the reps differ but I find the lever is the worst part of the cg on my 390. It's thin and doesn't feel half as good as my 029 noob.
