Gen 1665 advice needed

Interested in this piece as its reasonably priced on the Bay. However I am a bit dubious of why the serials have been covered up/rubbed off; purposely by the looks of things.

Any thoughts?

Seriously I wouldn't go anywhere near that watch.

I'd be careful here. The numbers sometimes wear off...at least partially from loose endlinks, but there's no way of telling this case from a Phong case from Internet pictures.

Like others have said...stay away from this one. Just at first glance the long E's on the case scream fake. Even a Phong case gets that right.

The datewheel alignment is non-existent. Avoid, run to the hills - with your wallet intact. As for the dial, I've never seen anything like it.

From a distance the dw looks like an ubi date wheel( which are great for Frankens).

I would say : a company of cobra snakes, followed by scorpions, tiger shaks, etc... I love all these animals...
