TC submariner dial spacer

Does the TC Sub uses a dial spacer, I am having issues with my TC so I sent the watch fro service to The Zigmeister and he said that there is no dial spacer, I did not received one with my TC sub?

Doesn't need one as it sits on the movement ring and that spaces it away from the dw or at least it has on the 3 I've seen.

I always throw in a dial spacer, I think relying on the movement ring like that is kind of janky.
