Rolexman
One looks like a Venus and the other one like a Valjoux 7755 movement.... but I'm not really an expert. Edited November 15, 2006 by Rolexman
Willith
I'm going to say they are watch movements, used in watches that keep time, probably manual wind watches. Do I win a prize? I'm sure someone will help you out, there are some pretty smart people on this forum, I'm not one of them though.

abakan
artoero, the 7765 has a date on the wheel. Use in a few chronographs, like Heuer Champion. Westcoasttime has one military chronograph for sale now I think on ebay. As for Landeron, there is a whole family of them. Mostly they don't have date, some have day, month inplementation with wheels, and date on the subdial at 6 o'clock with hand (Obvously ). Used in Delbana, Wakkman, Levrette to name the few. edited for errors
