Nobody will ever believe you but at the same time nobody will ever be able to spot the difference, so the question remains - rep or gen, what does it matter? I'm sure there will be some there who say that this is a redial, etc. One thing for sure, just as the case of the PanAm white dial 6542's you will never hear a peep from Rolex SA as to the authenticity! praetor Posted October 27, 2012 Report Share Posted October 27, 2012 (edited) looks genuine. This is the holy grail of sea dwellers, used in the SEA-LAB, which predates the comex. The caseback looks correct too compared to my picture collection. Note that the antiquorum version one has a unique clasp.
