Canuck88 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Very nice! Which dealer? How's the HEV? Caseback? I like that the lume isn't too yellow like some others I've seen...
Jetsons Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 (edited) Canuck88, this 1665 is the MBW. The cases are very near one to one so the HE valve and case back are as accurate as you can get without visiting a very reputable vintage dealer with a juicy bank account. The dial is as it arrives, Singer blank included. Folks age them to their taste but I've seen quite a few gens with an ivory patina. Beautiful watch and as usual, terrific photos, 16520b. Nice crown. Watchmeister Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Very nice watch. I agree with the sentiment on the crown and tube. IMHO, makes a huge difference. Ziggy has two of mine doing exactly that.
