Is this a GEN snowflake?

Watch head looks OK, definitely and aftermarket bracelet. This watch comes with a 93150 Oyster bracelet and 580 end links. I doubt that either of those are present on this watch, hence no detailed photos of the bracelet and clasp. Problem here, to make it right, it's going to cost another 500-1000 USD for a genuine bracelet and end links. If you're interested, I would ask the seller for more detailed photos of the bracelet and some of the clasp.

Here is a genuuine 9411/0 for comparison.

Somehow I am not conviced this is GEN..

something wrong with the rehaut... and the strap (definitely wrong).

What do you guys think?

http://www.ebay.com/...=item337dfafac0

Description we believe this watch was made in the 1950s ? where did they get that info from

well the seller has 100% positive feedback mabe some sellers who dont know about watches purchase a fake and sell it on ebay not knowing it is fake but we would never know if they knew or not always check the small print mabe somewhere you may read (we believe this watch to be a gen ,no returns accepted ) these are vintage watches that are over 40 years old so expect them to have different braclets ,refinished dials aftermarket insert and so on.

i think this is gen im not expert but lets face it the tudor flake is the easiest to fake than a rolly due to there available eta.movements

rehaunt is correct there are two types depending on the age of the watch this rehaunt is what i call ridged type flat on top.

post-27094-0-59036200-1353618239_thumb.j

this type of rehaunt was used on date subs including (redsubs) some redsub reps have it and a 26mm dial can be fitted due to the width of the rehaunt like the 2846 eta redsub reps

Watch is gen. Bracelet is aftermarket. The rehaut can be deceptive. More noticeable with a domed crystal due to the curve of the crystal which amplifies it. Younger 9401 and 9411's this lip is slightly wider then on older specimens.

Compare these two snowflakes I own.

The wider rehaut is a 914xxx serial and the older a 789xxx serial.

Gen watch - aftermarket plexi looking at condition and distortion

1979 case 903xxx serial - looks correct for that

Aftermarket bracelet and EL's - quite common in Tudor subs as early 9315 folded bracelets fell apart etc

Originally came on a 9315/380 bracelet and end link combo

Nice fat font serif insert

Seen a lot worse...........

I am with everyone else. Head looks gen. Bracelet obviously not. The seller is a legit jewelry seller and he makes no assertion about the whole thing being original or bracelet gen. Unfortunately, it is written in EBay watch speak. If the price stays close to where it is you will be in good shape to pick up a new bracelet and still be ahead of the game.

Original subs Pre 79090 came with Rolex clasps on 9315's with 380b end links.

Modern Tudor replacement is a 78500 with Tudor clasp which is the Tudor 93150 equivalent.

Originally comes with a Rolex but a Tudor will work.

9401 uses a 2776 which is the no date version of the 2784. A 2784 will work. All subs post the 7xxx designation use a high beat movement. Only the 7928, 7016, and the 7021 use a low beat movement.
