DW case 1680 fit ETA2824 stem height?

I like to build a 1680 by DW case, any body tell me that it fits 2824 stem height?

I also have DW 1680 case, and 703 crown tube, however the tube cannot be screwed in totaly, anybody can tell me how to solve this problem!

You have to counter sink the hole so the tapered part can go in.

Yup, easy : drill with a ball shape diamond steel head. 1 sec to do !!!

if I remember well you need to drill/chamfer arround 1mm deep with a 3.9mm drill bit

I've built a 1680 with a DW case before and everything worked fine. I installed a gen tube and crown, I put a 2846 eta movement in there but I had to make the movement holder for the case. I fitted a gen crystal too.
