alligoat Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 Usual suspects- Clark's and Wholesaleoutlet990. Also, you can keep an eye on ebay. You're buying aftermarket parts so the fit may not be perfect and may require a little massaging- i.e. filing!

Ephry73 Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 The culprit on these issues is always the thicker than gen retainer ring. You can try filing it on a drill or drill press and see if it helps. i think BK did a tutorial on it.

oldtools Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 The best way to go is to get the entire bezel assembly, that way you know all the pieces are compatible. Gary at nostalgia-2000 on ebay, has a nice bezel assembly. It looks like gen, but it does not use a friction washer like gen. It is reasonably priced at $40-$50. I checked and he currently doesn't have one on ebay. The TC crystal retainer does not fit a gen bezel, the outer diameter is too big.

I don't realy have a limit, as long it is still reasonable. Want to put the best parts togetter for an ultimate sub lv without a gen movement.
