msp Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I'm in for a 116613 LN aswell... Waiting for the 1st February right now
irolexu Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 116613 dial is wrong. It looks like a 16613 dial with fat markers. The original rolex dial is more of a flat baby blue
asciwhite Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 This is mine from Joshua..... QC picture.
Mills Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 I've got my QC pics today as well and it looks like a cracker. Damn post taking too long. In answer to the shipping question, it was $45. 1
asciwhite Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 I really love how the rep buisness have started using proper superlume on the watches... My "old" Sea-Dweller sorely needs a relume...
Rolleggs Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Hmmm... nobody ´s asking about the rehaut´s engravings.. still aligned with index markers or not? This is imo one of the biggest flaws. The very new version of TT´s Sub seems to have a pretty good AR cyclops and a mag of 2,5 at all. But, one thing isn´t quite good: the spacing in "officiallycertified" is too low..

But, one thing isn´t quite good: the spacing in "officiallycertified" is too low.. The rehaut is not aligned properly on a few DSSD's that I'm aware of. It's a bummer too since overall they are much improved over the Noob versions. GreenHornet's Tapatalk HD
mbenz Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 The "officiallycertified" caused some concerned.
asciwhite Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 I really don`t care about a minute detail like that A replica is a replica...
msp Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) 116613 dial is wrong. It looks like a 16613 dial with fat markers. The original rolex dial is more of a flat baby blue LN not LB Edited February 4, 2013 by msp
projectologist Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 The "officiallycertified" caused some concerned. Here's a pic from Rolex's promo release packet for Basel... note the spacing. Maybe the factory used this pic for reference...
SSTEEL Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 Looks mighty fine to me. Just had an email from Andrew, his web-shop is down at the moment due to server issues, but he said it will be back up and running in a few hours. Then I can order my TT Sub Blk/Gld 1
SSTEEL Posted February 5, 2013 Report Posted February 5, 2013 Trusty's is back up and running, so I have just completed my order. Just waiting now for details on how to pay with my debt card
Mills Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Just received mine and I'm more than happy. Looks great and can't see any obvious flaws. Spacing between the officially and certified looks fine, pearl is excellent and the rehaut engraving is lined up perfectly. 1
SSTEEL Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 You guys ordering right before CNY? Ordered the other day, and sent payment yesterday, Andrew is still reachable, but has not said anything to me about CNY affecting my purchase as there is stock in the UK too now.
irolexu Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I understand that but where can I source the correct dial that is flat not sunburst
SSTEEL Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Sunburst? Flat? You referring to a vintage sub dial?
irolexu Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 No the most recent submariner has a flat blue dial not a metallic finish or sunburst like a 16613 but flat like the 116613
herviam Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Just ordered a black ceramic 116610 with Asia 25J from Joshua (PC's). First rep! I will post my QC pics as soon as I get them. May look into picking up the blue ceramic as well... Any thoughts?
asciwhite Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Anybody received one that they would like to share some pictures of??
indywatchguy Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 @striker that's why you have multiple reps and switch out weekly so they don't take a beating
Archetypal Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Come on guys lets see some detailed pics! Anybody gone for the no date?
speedy1969 Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 I have to say that the quality in those pics looks impeccable! Unbelievably close to the gen in imo. How has it been so far for you Mike? Keeping good time? I'm thinking of getting one off trusty (Andrew) in the next few months. I have to say, one of the best done Rolex sports models i've EVER seen and I've been in the game for a little while. Love to see some more pics and perhaps gen vs. rep pics. Also, how is the crystal? On the gens the crystal, although not nearly as tall as Rolex used to make on the sports model, still demands its presence with it's sparkling and gleaming that is given off in the light. Is the crystal on trustys rep as similar to the gen as the watch is itself?
Calebt Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Come on guys lets see some detailed pics! Anybody gone for the no date? Going to the post office this morning to pick mine, I'll post pic's later today.
