mastergod
Hi all, Finally embarking on a 6542 project, although it will have slight fantasy elements such as wrong crown (8mm) and wrong dial (1675). If/when I get called I'll simply have to admit I had to make it that way because Rolex failed to Haven't used Ingods dials for date watches before - do we wether the date-window works with w/2836-2? Thanks! mg Quick powerpoint sketch..
Martyd3
You will need a date wheel overlay for any eta based movement.
panerai153
the ingod 1675 dial is identical to the 6542 dial except the 1675 is flat w/ feet and the 6542 has the rolled over edge that is designed to snap into the 1030 movement. I believe a 2846 would be a better choice for a 6542, but if you're making a fantasy watch, who cares. As Marty said, a DW overlay is needed to get the ETA DW to line up with the date window. tmg
That's the wrong font though MG and probably won't line up with the window even if you don't care about the font being wrong. Can't recall whom but some members have made their own decal overlays on an inkjet printer. I'm sure if you do a search you'll find a tutorial.
