They are sweet.  If they were mine, I would fill them with clear resin, which would make them less prone to dust/dirt, and would encase them perfectly with a glossy surface.

That's a good idea, I also think it looks better with that glossy surface

Great stuff. I had  a pair with a different movement for a while before they were lost in a move. They come in all shapes and sizes and with SS , gold and even DLC (or something like it) casing. Here is a link:
