jerkstore Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 I've been lurking here for a while. Unknowingly, you have dropped mucho knowledge on me. I just finished my first vintage build, and I am hooked. Unfortunately for my wallet. Looking forward to spending all my free time here. 1

I happen to be wearing it right now. I found a Goldfinger strap... I still have a couple more mods I want to do, but I like how it's turnin out.
Nanuq Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 Niiiiiiiiice. What crystal and hands are those?
jerkstore Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Posted April 13, 2013 Niiiiiiiiice. What crystal and hands are those? It's a sternkreutz plexi dome. The hands are actually transplanted from an MQJ sub! I aged them with Worcestershire sauce and baked. I actually bought some gilt hands with a lollipop seconds hand. I'm aging/reluming them soon. When I make those changes and get a bracelet I ordered, I will post on it.
Nanuq Posted April 13, 2013 Report Posted April 13, 2013 Very nice! What case is that? I've got a Big Dazza 6538 and its crystal is a dead ringer for a flatter "service" dome. I'm thinking about swapping to a higher dome like yours.
jerkstore Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Posted April 13, 2013 Silix case with 6541 between the lugs. Everything is stock except the hands and crystal. I tried to add a nonhacking 21j for more authenticity, but I couldn't get it to fit. So it's just got a 2813 in it.
