Yes, for post processing pics Lightroom is really great, I think the best. And really easy to use compared to Photoshop.

Goto adobe.com! But I believe they support both platforms.

It is for both platforms but Apple Aperture is really good too.

I found Lightroom + Photoshop as a best combo. Lightroom makes the photo work flow (from RAW to print) easy.

Yeah, I do it like this as well. Lightroom is also very good for selecting and organizing your pictures.
