I posted this on RWI as well, I hope it helps people in comparing their Reps to my Gen.

 

The strap is a custom Elephant Hyde that House of Fleming in Atlanta made for me.

 

Keep in mind this has been a nearly daily-wear watch for me over the last few years. So it's a little on the dirty side.

My hope is to buy the Rep G-Series when it's available and do some side-by-side shots of my own. Enjoy!

custom elephant skin... this is 2nd time I see 089 on such strap and it looks great!

I'm really toying wif the idea of putting a eta 7754 into my 089 but i read the DW is off and the hands wun fit unless the pinion is modded longer?

Anyone done this with success before?

I have two, so maybe you've seen mine. :-)

I originally asked if they could find an elephant SKIN. She said "No. Animals the size of a house don't have skin...they have Hide."

I see the crown guard as the main flaw on the rep

It is also a shame that the movement decoration is wrong but that is inside

I really don't see the point of fitting a Swiss 7754 in their as it will still be wrong and won't run any better than a good running a7750
