netniet Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Today my Rolex SSD v2 modded by Jackjo arrived in the mail. It is a very nice watch, but i want to upgrade it. I was thinking about replacing the insert and crown with gen parts, and replacing the strap with a TC one. What else could be done to make to worth holding on to for a long time? And who can do it for me?

wiseguy1481 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Gen Insert & Crystal... the gen crystals really do make a HUGE difference, IMO. Not sure how the clasp is but if its not that good then get a TC. You will have an AWESOME SSD.
danielv2000 Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 Gen insert for sure. As for the crystal, the gen will not fit the SSD. It's been discussed ad nauseum here. I would love a solution, even a clear crystal without an LEC. Good luck
sgtguk Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 +1 Gen insert mate as for the bracelet I'd put the Tc on it if it hasn't got it already makes a huge difference for little outlay, the Tc V3 clasp is for the Sub btw not the SD afaik. +3 by now I see
