CptTripps Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 This is how it starts: By a strange chain of emails, I ended up procuring a Patek Phillipe 530 dial. Upon further investigation, I learned that this not only fits a Valjoux 23 movement, but that was the base-movement for the watch. THAT got me thinking...and searching...and looking some more. So, who's built one? How close to gen can you get here? Pic of the dial is attached. A pic of the gen is also attached. Phong has a case-set that I can pick up, and the pics look good. I'm just hoping that someone has done a similar build that can lend me some guidance. The dial looks a little "off" to me, so perhaps it's not worth chasing.
