dropbear2008 Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 ...found it half an hour later. Haven't shitted myself like that for a while...
jtiis Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 You the drop bear! Lol... Glad u found it.
Nanuq Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 You know, that crown once dropped can never be used on a watch. Its ... ummmmmmmmmm ... chrominess has now been compromised and you will never be able to trust it. Once can never tell when drastic chrominess may be required and the piece may fail without warning. I hereby volunteer to dispose of it for you. I promise to give it a comfortable and respectful resting place.
SSTEEL Posted August 28, 2013 Report Posted August 28, 2013 I recently lost a pearl from a gen Rolex insert. It pinged out of the bezel insert whilst fitting, took me two bloody hors to find it. Considering investing in a watchmakers metal detector.
Dlf Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 (edited) I use this method Edited August 29, 2013 by Dlf
SSTEEL Posted August 29, 2013 Report Posted August 29, 2013 Thats an idea I have tried in the past with good results. This is what I will get though for shits and giggles.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330788395643?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
dropbear2008 Posted August 29, 2013 Author Report Posted August 29, 2013 Tried to keep it low key as it had fallen under my desk at work... Still got funky after a while when I crawled under the desk to find it.
