No deal on craigslist is worth the risk of something like this happening.  I know plenty of people have no issues but it only takes one time... m2m ftw

Not good. I said the other day here about someone selling a watch on Craigslist that the buyer could be "relieved" of their money and watch.

Always hated these kind of transactions. Over in the UK people are big into a website called Gumtree which is abit like Craigslist. If I ever want to buy something expensive I usually go with a friend and best meet in a very public place or their house that way you know where they live.

 I live in NYC metro area, be a cold day in hell before I sell anything on a meet. As some of you know I am not a small guy but even if I pack and wack them I get jammed up, not worth it.

If I do a Craiglist deal I meet them in the parking lot of the police station. I know it's on the up and up.
