Great source of inspiration, anyways here's my first of a trio I'm getting together.. (I didn't bevel this case, my next case has beveled edges ) Daz dial age/relume MD2020 serviced Swiss movement Necky drilled lugs/tap crown and assembled I nickel and brass plated the bezel. Sternkreutz plexi Yuki pearl Ayatha crown/tube Raffles insert Silix case/ from years ago.. Hands are a mixture , plated n aged by me Cartel bracelet Turned out a belter, just wish I could take pics it deserves Anyway here iPhone shots. Also have another in the pipe FULL tropic which Akira just sent me pics of the dial, almost peed me pants can't wait :thumbup: Gen pic^

denimhead Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 Fantastic result considering the sum of its parts, just goes to show what can be acheived without huge costs. One thing that might be worth doing is sand down the insert a bit so it sits inside the bezel a bit flusher. Congrats on a lovely piece DH
