Package stuck at UK customs

I  have a package stuck at customs since the 29th of august . status says : Awaiting custom clearance .

 

Should I start to worry ? 

 

apparently UK customs are really slow these days ... or just paying more attention ...

 

any similar experience so far ?

Do not worry, this often happens and in a day or two they will either let it go or send you a note saying you have to pay handling and VAT which is usually around £14. Often it just comes out the other end, in this game Patience being a virtue is so right!

True . but it is the first time it takes so long ...

 

and I heard in different forums that UK customs make it more and more difficult to get through ...

The first time I ordered a watch, it took 6 weeks!! (China to the Netherlands) but it was in December, so it was stupid to order something. I was worried but when I received my watch, the waiting was totaly worth it
