irate03 Posted October 7, 2013 Report Share Posted October 7, 2013 My silix arrived last week, I wore it for a few days and when the weekend arrived I couldn't resist, I had to build what I've been waiting for for about a year. before- dial and hands ageing, case and crown ageing and reshape. No the tube is fine, the problem with this crown is that the 'click' of the the bezel is actually the bezel rubbing against the crown, it also lifts the bezel a millimetre or so when screwed down, so reshaping the case side angle gives the bezel a little more room and less pressure. Try filling that with JB Weld metal epoxy, then shaping it, and tapping the threads through it. Then when you screw the tube in, it holds it out from the case just a smidgen.
