richard_uk
Okay now I have your attention I feel cheeky asking as I rarely post these days (I have been here since we opened though and did used to contribute a fair bit), but if anyone could help my daughter please with her fundraising it would be greatly appreciated, it doesn't matter about the amount it's more about the encouragement for her, her target isn't huge (£1000) and she's already over half way there, and of course every little helps My daughter Isobel (8yrs) has been trying to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support for some time now, since losing an uncle to cancer, she has had several coffee mornings at home to raise money, and also recently had her lovely long curly hair cut off to donate to a charity who make wigs for children with cancer. This is her just giving page http://www.justgiving.com/Isobel-Pri...page-new%22%7D and here is a couple of pics of her before and after her hair cut, I'm so proud

richard_uk
Thank you for the kind words, and again thank you for another very generous donation. I can't wait to see her face tomorrow when I show her the new donations, between this place and one other forum I have posted this on we have raised well over £100 tonight! PeteM
That is a great charity to raise money for... Isobel should be very proud of herself for her dedication mate.... My family and I have had many dealings with MacMillan nurses and hospitals over many years and I can honestly say they made such a difference to us all and without them I cannot imagine what more difficulty our family would have gone through... I will never be able to thank them enough for what they gave us and helped us through. You are a very lucky Dad to have such a caring and thoughtful daughter mate ...
