Seeking Davidsenjpn Pam Recommendations Please!

Funny how a vintage Rolex fellow like me would be seeking some advice regarding PAMs...

I have 2 PAMs, a 183 (that gets zero wristime since last year) and a 001 which I wear at least 4 days outta 7.

I've been lookin' at watches for a while and I've decided that I'd like to get another PAM, perhaps one without running seconds. I don't want any chrono, date version or auto version. So that means I only want a PAM that has the Unitas (ETA) or Unitas Copy movement with a closed caseback.

And I only want one in the 44mm Luminor case.

So, can you guys recommend a Luminor with a correct crown, with C3 Luminova + correct coloring and perfect dial?

I prefer older or historical as opposed to sandwich. And I want a closed caseback.

Ok, to sum it up:

- Unitas 6497 or asian Unitas only

- closed casedback

- non-sandwich

- perfect dial (fonts, markers, etc)

- C3 Luminova

- excellent crown

- 44mm Luminor case

- sub-seconds or not ok

- historical ok

Can you guys help out an ol' pal?

Wait for davidsen to get his dials right or at least close....otherwise spend your money else where

Well, what about his Pre-A 009? The dial markers and the font print looks spot on to me. Am I correct in assuming this? This dial looks perfect to me, is it?

I must say DSN's watches looks great (other than the font on the dial).

But I have been told that his watches are not 1:1. That they are slightly smaller in every dimension.

Since I don't have a gen, rep, and a DSN rep, I can not comment.

DSN's parts are unique for his watches. So other than the caseback, crown and crystal, parts are not interchangable with other reps, or gen for that matter.

This is what is keeping me from buying DSN's watches.

Can anyone else comment? Thanks

I am curious as well. Any PAM experts care to chime in?
