joejoe7 Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 (edited) Hi all, I've been offered a rolex submariner with what is described as a genuine seagull perpetual auto sweeping 28,000 bhp high beat movement, the bezel is described as having the latest ceramic 2013,120 clicks movement. 316 L one piece case and crown and 316 L bracelet. Can any of you good folks help a newbee and let me know if this is a good buy, they want £150. Edited April 11, 2014 by joejoe7
pcardoza Posted April 11, 2014 Report Posted April 11, 2014 Even the best eye will need better pictures than that.
joejoe7 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Report Posted April 11, 2014 Thanks for the reply Paul, it's the movement and steel quality I am needing some advice on.
jpz5142 Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Even the best eye will need better pictures than that. +1 Will need better pics to see the detail before many guys will give opinion. With the detail we can tell who the maker likely is and will give a better opinion.
dusk Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Looks like the picture was taken with a spoon
fraggle42 Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 And we'll need X-ray vision that works with a photograph to give you an opinion on the movement! I'm not a Rolex guy but I doubt you'll get much useful info without decent pictures. Proper, high res, sharp pictures of front, back, bracelet, clasp and of movement.
Mike on a bike Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 The hell is a 'seagull perpetual '? Most likely do not know how to describe the movement as perpetual usually in regard to date.
Pugwash Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 The hell is a 'seagull perpetual '? That'd be a Tianjin Seagull automatic movement.
Cats Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Hi Pugwash long time no see glad to see you back on RWG Send with Sony Experia Z using Tapatalk Pro
