cousin_hub
Hi When I removed my watch the other night, a 6239 Rolex David Wong, she slipped out of my hands and fell on the wafer. Fortunately there was a carpet but since it does not want to restart :-/ A friend opened it to watch the movement and he told me that it appeared that the spiral was stuck. What do you think? And you would know someone who could repair me? regards
prdubis
Any movement pic? Did you try to gently smatch the watch head inside your hand palm?

freddy333
It sounds like the hairspring got tangled onto an adjoining wheel. A good, clear macro of the balance wheel (ie, 'the spiral') would help.
cousin_hub
Ok thanks. I will try to take a macro
FxrAndy
Could be over banked, a palet stone sitting on the wrong side if the escape wheel, fairly easy fix if it is that

freddy333
It looks like your hairspring is tangled. The spirals should all be evenly spaced. If you have a loupe or magnifying glass, look closely at the motion of the hairspring as you gently rotate the balance wheel (do not force it) & you should be able to locate what the spring is hanging-up on. Because of the fragility of the hairspring, I would recommend having a watchmaker untangle it for you. Otherwise, your next request will likely be for instructions on how to replace a mangled hairspring.
lloyd
It is possible the movement was over oiled and a drop of oil got on the spring
