EbolaVirus
I purchased the WatchAccuracy timegrapher app to regulate a movement. I recommend it! It uses the hands free microphone near the movement to hear the beat. You can manually configure the beat rate or leave it on auto. The reading fluctuates quite a bit initially, but averages out to being more stable the longer it's left. 3 weeks ago I received a new toy and wanted to give it a preemptive service. I wear my watches on my right hand so I tested it with 10 o'clock down at 45deg from flat. I've been wearing it daily for 3 weeks and it's just getting towards 55 seconds fast. Call it about +20sec per week or +3sec per day. Not too bad! =) There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who use binary and those who don't. coffindodger
So does this tell you how far out your watch is, you have to know how to adjust it yourself still though?

panermaniac
Hope it's better than Kello - I can't for the life of me get it to work anymore. I've tried 3 different brands of headphones to no avail. Ugh
EbolaVirus
So does this tell you how far out your watch is, you have to know how to adjust it yourself still though? It gives you how many seconds per day fast or slow it is. It doesn't tell you how to go about adjusting it. There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who use binary and those who don't. sputim
It works but only for my pams and not rollies. Think they are too silent or what you guess?
EbolaVirus
Maybe. Not sure. I used it with a 2824 or 2836 in an AP Diver. It was fine with the case back off. It worked with no microphone on my eta 2824 sea dweller, but it was a bit temperamental in that instance. There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who use binary and those who don't. Jkay
To make these kinds of iPhone apps work properly you need a good mic !! Sadly, no app I have seen has been able to display the Beat Error which is very important ... I do not use this particular microphone, but it gives you the idea of what to buy ,... http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/iRigMicCast/
