dbane883 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Should I video record the package opening? or just take snapshots? Just in case for PP dispute proof?
cc33 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Photos are fine in this case, you're all in this together and if he wronged one of you he wronged you all, when it comes time to complain Paypal will hear the same story from 5 buyers from around the world, they will obv believe you all no video required.

glight2000 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Posted May 26, 2014 To install the bezel assembly in a BP case, can I take this to a regular watch guy or do I need to send it to someone who is familiar with reps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dbane883 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Minutes away. Just paying $26 in brokerage fees
glight2000 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Posted May 26, 2014 OPEN THE PACKAGE ALREADY! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
dbane883 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 ok boys.. Anticipation is over. Onto the pics. Parcel was nicely packaged for the journey: It's getting fun now: So far, looking good: Not an expert on the Sub C dial, but looks good to me: Now onto the bezel. Came completely assembled with bezel protector: Springs look legit. Very shiny and perfect welds on the bearing to the spring..unlike the rep springs: Protector removed: Close ups of number engravings: smooth, clean cuts. Platinum sheen: The bezel teeth are are perfectly cut/polished as well.. Not dull/grainy like the BP/Noob bezel teeth: Bezel protector compared to gen (my gen on the bottom): Now the moment of truth. Bezel/insert comparison to my NOS 114060 no-date: Pearl looking good: Only difference I can spot is in the bezel teeth...but the difference is extremely subtle: The bezel teeth of my 114060 is slightly pointier at the bottoms of the scallops, but this can vary minutely depending on the wear of the grinding wheel I suppose. But the overall shape/depth of the scallops is correct. You can make your own conclusions. But as far as I'm concerned, the dial and bezel assemblies are gen. I am open to your comments but I think we are good. many thanks to the OP for directing us this way. Also pat on the back to those that took the plunge to buy it. It was a risk (albeit a small one), but looks like it paid off.
ceocorona Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 That looks fantastic! I'm so happy I took the risk and bought a set! Great pictures!
glight2000 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Posted May 26, 2014 What a relief! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
glight2000 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Posted May 26, 2014 Dbane883 was the perfect guy to receive the first package. Those pictures are fantastic. Thank you, dbane. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
dbane883 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Any issues with the dial? Spacing of "1000ft=300m" and Coronet are a touch different. Mind you, I'm comparing it to my no-date.
Maszie Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Looks pretty good to me. Here is a gen for comparison: I really hate myself now that I didn't buy a set .
dbane883 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Excellent...I think we are all good. Many thanks everyone. Hope the other 3-4 that bought get exactly what I did. Save the seller in your favourites. Two thumbs up!
