Hi All,

I'm considering buying one of these from one of the TDs, either Trusty or Toro.

I've done a search but nothing recent comes up, does anyone know anything about the watch, I've looked at some QC pictures on Andrews site and they look ok, just wondered how the engraving on the numbers on the bezel fair against gen. Also is the hand stack correct, I know this is a big tell on the Rolex GMT's.

The other thing I'm curious about is price difference, as far as I know, they're the same watch, but one TD is $30 more expensive, anyone know why? better QC process?

The biggest tell is bezel. The lines between numbers position is a HUGE tell

No. On gen lines make a line with minute markers, on rep lines are between minute markers

This rep is good, but the bezel is incorrect anyway. I can't say what flaw is it, didn't done any research, but I know it has a big tell.

Yes the bezel is definitely a tell but I dont't think that anyone will notice it because it's a pretty rare watch and you really have to know where to look.

The bezel engraving is skewed. The numbers 8 and 10 on the bezel are closer to the crystal than the 20 and 22. It's a great shame as this is a great rep. I have the black version with orange numbers, it's my favourite rep because of it's accuracy

Having just said that, Boycie has just sold one on RWG with what looks like a perfect bezel. Bought from Josh, it says. Have a look, if they can get them like that I would be interested too!

"but one TD is $30 more expensive, anyone know why?" Toro is cheaper right, small TD tighter margin most likely. I find Toro and SuperMirrors a bit cheaper on everything, smaller selection but if they have what you want...............

Well after some umming and arrring and the potential promise of a gen bezel, I decided to go for it.
