...after plus 10 years collecting.... Watch Parts Junk Yard

Recommended Posts

I had to do the same thing, I had all of my parts, straps, etc. in a big fishing tackle box, couldn't find anything, I bought a couple of chests with drawers that I could label, at least now I have things narrowed down to one drawer!! I need to have a parts "garage sale"

I have a lot of parts and complete (Asian movement) watches, some running, some not, stored in boxes but I have just about stopped working on Asian movement stuff so they are beginning to get in the way. They have value only because I paid $$ for them and the time is fast approaching when they must be gathered up and sold.

Parts tend to accumulate because so many Asian powered watches are unreliable (in my experience) and my swiss Eta parts stash is only a small fraction of the Asian junkyard.

It seems the only exceptions are Sea Gull movements...ST6D, ST16, ST19.
