Do You Set Your Hackable Reps To The Exact Time When You Put Them On?

OCD alert!!!!

Can't put on a fresh new watch for the day without hacking it to www.time.gov.

The fact that it's off by 5 seconds or so by the end of the day doesn't bother me but I've got to hack it at 5:30 am or I'm not comfortable with it.

Zoloft, lithium, Paxil........Maybe I should look into it.

I was just wondering if this is common among collectors or is a time obsession different from a watch obsession?

i set my watches every time to the dam cable box digital clock hmmm maybe a form of watch ocd ..

i also have to regulate all my dam reps to at least 2-3 + - perday .. anything over 5 perday drives my nuts man !

My laptop syncs with real time, so if I have the time, I'll hack my watch to the right time. I recently set the clock to show seconds on the menubar just for this reason.

GMT time: GMT I check my watches against this site... all of them are +- 1 sec/day

I hack to time.gov... On the watches that have hack function, that is

My 003B keeps perfect time +/- 1 sec for weeks so it was hard to put it right in the first time (not hackable) but now it is the watch I look to set my other two Pams.

I just look at the kitchen clock, and set them roughly to the same time.

Even though I am a watch nut, I am not obsessed with presicion.

I have a couple of quartz clocks around the house that sync with real time.... so I always set my watches (rep or gen) prior to wearing them...

I used to be pretty anal about the prescision of my watches.... I guess I'm getting older and wiser....
