Which crystal is most appropriate?

Hi,

 

I'm working on getting parts together for a Tudor Blue 9401/0 type build and had a question about the crystal. I'm going to use a Clark's Tropic 19 and I've seen several reference on the forums that this is a good crystal to use but there is no mention of if it is the domed version or not. When I look at the T19s in the Clark's store they have both.

 

So, which is more true to the original?

Dome is what they would have had from the factory, the service replacements were more flat

Rule of thumb: always use superdomes whenever possible.

Here's the look you'll get with a big dome.  This is a gen Superdome T39 and I cut down the sidewalls a couple mm to lower it.   A T19 dome will be about the same.
