sacsah1 Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Misiekped i really need to get my Yuki 3135 fit in my noob case, I wonder if u can do ur magic..
Mendota Explorer Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 That's really impressive. Right now there's a 3135 on Ebay for a grand. Someone could get the beginnings of a genken like this one, if you are up for doing it again. Would a Yuki 3135 work as a base?
misiekped Posted September 1, 2014 Author Report Posted September 1, 2014 Awesome work indeed! you got movement pics? Few pictures as promised Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ianmac Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Truly a great build. With the noob case it will be stunning. Congrats.
6now Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I didn't find 3185, I used 3135 mainplate which is base for any 31xx movements and assembled from parts Nice! That takes skills.
victorDSSD Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Thanks I'm a picky guy and will redo with new noob case, with better engraving aliment Impressive when you are done with your Noob case version I'll happily take this one of your hand:) Beautiful work. misiekped Posted September 13, 2014 Author Report Posted September 13, 2014 Ok Redone with noob latest case Totally different experience 1. Tube gen like and the position is very close to gen, didn't have to change that as the stem is not stress at all 2. Rehout engraving much better then on BP 3. Bezel assembly fits straight in 4. Now, the case inside has slightly wider opening for the movement so is wiggling, have to fabricate custom ring to prevent that, it is really very thin made from aluminum sheet , but will change that to plastic later on, just have to find correct diameter 5. Bracelet figment also much, much better then BP Picture to follow tomorrow Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
