Comparing the gen and rep photos above, the bezel numbers font sticks out as quite different to me. The rep numbers font appears much thinner than the gen.... Most noticeable on the 10.

Hmm I'm slightly torn. Very good first attempt but I'm sure the fade into black could be better. Seems the black starts slightly higher closer to the 3 and 9 marker on the gen pic. Would be nice to see a pic when you get it. Still a nice watch tho.

Honestly in real life, the difference in the point where the gen and reps "start" fading to black would be hard to distinguish as a tell unless you compare the 2 side by side.

Also, lighting would play a notable part in the appearance of the dial, as well as the angle from which you happen to glance at it.

The "Deepsea" wording on the dial is however a lighter tone than the one in the gen.

I would not worry about these differences, as they are rather unobstrusive in the rep. It is a nice first attempt, and a very wearable rep IMHO. :)

+1

I also doubt highly in the real world an untrained eye would pick up any differences in shade or tone of letters. Very jealous I don't have one.

As usual, the bezel numbers are too thin on the rep.

The dial design is starting to grow on me though.
