k1umin Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Anyone know of any rep-friendly servicers within the US that they have had positive experience with? I know there is a couple on the forum but none that I could find with some reviews of good service. Any help is much appreciated as I have been looking for quite a bit now with no success.
k1umin Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Posted September 14, 2014 Perhaps no one else has had luck in this area either?
landman Posted September 15, 2014 Report Posted September 15, 2014 I was wondering the same thing. When you need it, where can you get a Rolex rep serviced in the US? I'm located in San Antonio, Texas but wouldn't mind mailing it to someone when the time comes that it needs servicing.
k1umin Posted September 16, 2014 Author Report Posted September 16, 2014 chronoluvvv, I'm located in New Jersey, but I'm ok with shipping the watch to a servicer, as long as it's someone that has a positive reputation with members here.

Then you aren't looking hard enough. Plenty of reviews and mentions of US based watchsmiths on this and other rep forums. PBdad, Vac, Speedy, MyManMatt, Rex450 ... the list goes on. Depends on what you need done as to who would be best to use. I have used everyone but Speedy on this list and had good results with each, although be prepared to wait. Any good watchsmith that works on reps is going to be backed up.
chronoluvvv Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 I've been dealing with SpeedyG since early 09 no complaints whatsoever He's in Chicago though
k1umin Posted September 18, 2014 Author Report Posted September 18, 2014 I tried to contact Vac and 2 other members on this forum before starting the thread but I was unable to get in touch with anyone. But I spprecusre the help! Let me see if I can get in touch with SpeedyG. I need to have my movement serviced/oiled and day wheel changed on a Day-Date II rep

tchung11 Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Anyone know of a reputable contact (email or phone) for someone who can service my Rolex Milguass A2836 that I just bought? I'm located in Southern California.
k1umin Posted October 8, 2014 Author Report Posted October 8, 2014 so after much time spent trying to find a reputable watch smith on this forum I figured i'd share my findings. apparently repgeek is the place to be if you want to find a servicer for your watch in the US. I was finally able to get in touch with Vac who will be doing the work for me. Any one else interested in getting work done in the US i highly encourage you to check our repgeek: http://www.repgeek.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30
landman Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 K1umin, the link you posted is not working for me. Would you mind sharing the contact info of who you are going to get to service your watch? Thanks.
