Winder Recommendations

Hello All,

 

I am need of a new winder.  My dual winder started to emit an electrical burning smell last night.  Nearly gave me a heart attack as my Gen Tag GC was in it at the time.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good one (I think I might go Quad this time around  ), preferably one that is also amazon prime haha.

I use the one brookstone makes.  4 watches for $200 or 2 for $150.  Its been great over the past 1.5 years.

But if you can wait for few weeks you can bay it around 150$..

Thanks for the replies so far.  Brookstone is a store, if they have a quality product I might go take a look on my way home.  I have some amazon credit so I was hoping to stick with them.

 

Dr M My current winder was a diplomat, not sure I am going to trust another one.  Thanks for the suggestion though.

I have a few Acetimers that have worked flawlessly for several years. They are quiet, operate on either A/C or batteries, have multiple speeds (to suit different watches' winding requirements) and look great

Freddy this one looks very similar to yours and the one listed on AceTimers.  I wonder if they are the same box.

Similar, but the Quad 4 Acetimers have a lifting tab (located on the front of the top cover, just above the lock) & spots for 5 idle watches in front.

I'm with Freddy. Go with Acetimer. I've had mine for about 5 years working every day. Still so quiet you can sleep next to it.

Martijnp I am fairly certain my wife would murder me if i ordered that because she knows I would need to fill it ASAP haha.  I might go with the quad from Ace.

I have 2 winders from ace timer. A 4 and an 8. The 4 is at least 10 years old and still works well. The 8 I bought after joining here.....and I really like it. It has adjustable speed settings for each wheel. Good service also. One of the motors started making a little noise and they sent me 2 motors at no charge.
