robpatte
Just bought a gen one online. The 36mm version. Amazing price. Already own the standard full size (41mm) blue bezel SMP but was wondering what the verdict on mid size watches are? The full size looks good on my wrist, will the 36mm look like I've borrowed my wife's watch? She'll probably end up owning it if it does... fitmic
Personally I'm no fan of mid size watches. But hey, it's up to the wearer...
kernow
Depends on many things: wrist size, clothing etc. The mid size generally fits better under cuffs if you've a smaller wrist so may work better for work etc. Good choice regardless as they're s timeless piece. robpatte
Thanks guys, it arrived today. At home waiting. So I guess I'll know if it's a 'wearer' by the end of the day. Or my missus will get a rather nice surprise present from her husband...
fitmic
Give it to your lady instead. Win-win!
robpatte
Update... I got home and unwrapped the package and guess what? It looks like a woman's watch. Showed it to my missus (made out that I had actually bought it for her) and she said "I like it, but I wish it was a bit bigger" Story of my life...
kernow
Was she talking about the watch?

HTD
Depends fully on the wearer, as said above. I personally like mid sized watches so they get the attention they deserve Is she wearing the watch yet?
robpatte
In her wisdom and taste (she married me after all!) she decided to kick her gaudy Michael Kors into touch, and is now the proud owner of a rather nice Omega SMP. I didn't tell her that it was originally a purchase for myself, but I'm too used to big watches, 41mm or above. Tried on a 46 mm B&R recently and loved it. I'll post some wrist shots tonight.
