What did i wrong? ETA 2824-2 date change.

Hi. i have a ETA 2824-2 that had some problems with the stem. i fixed that. Date now changes on 22.15

What have i done wrong?

Uh... Did you mounted back the hands in the wrong position? Which kind of job have you done with the stem?

I think everyone has a different method, but I always take off the hands at the 3:00 position prior to hack mode and replace in exact same position.

did you remove the hands to fix it?

 

if so, you probably just mounted them back in the wrong time. 

take them off and turn the stem until the date flips over. that is midnight.

mount the hands there.

 

easy fix.

This is my first movement im working on. The problem with stem was that i would not sit in the movement.

Its a wm9 YM.

Will fix it tomorrow

When you pull the stem all the way out of the movement, they normally start up running again.

ah so you dislodged your keyless works.

 

if you fixed that and mounted the hands in the wrong place, this happens.

 

just turn the stem changing the time until the date flips.

mount the hands to 12 then and youre good to go.

Hands was loose too so i didnt know the right place for them.
