StoneP
IMHO I will say go with this parts spec list - silix case (softened, reshaped & redrilled) - HR dial - Athaya crown - Fesla 1560 or 4007 movt. Kime
Yes the Silix works perfectly with an HR dial and a 2824 movement... Certainly the case is thinner than the HR and the rehaut is much better but the bezel is fairly poor and certainly the issue are bigger than those with the HR case so it really is a case of which of the bad bits do you like least. dieselpower
@ StoneP I have got an ETA 2451 movement which beats at 18k and I was hoping that it would be possible to fit this into the case (probably silix). If you have the knowledge on these things do you know if this is possible or does the case need 'adapting' to accept a 2451 movement. Also does the same apply to the Feslea movements you suggest? Stepan
I wonder is it possible to make a run of proper bezels to fit Silix case.
