Chuck P
And I have to say, I LOVE IT! So much I am contemplating a gen swiss 7753 down the road. It currently is a7750 with rotor removed. Anyone know where I can find the thicker DW caseback? If I go gen 7753 I would just assume leave it auto wind as I don't like hand winding watches not designed with that in mind. ceejay
Nice, nice , nice! If you put a gen 7753 in then there is a quick and easy (for a competent watch smith) manual wind conversion. It isn't a bodge neither, it's the proper method and involves removing the autowind mechanism and putting in a genuine ETA/Valjoux manual wind bridge that is available from Cousins UK etc. There are 2 (?) manual wind versions of the 77-- movement, Valjoux 7760/7765. gmg_3
I'd ride this till the wheels fall off. If it stops then i would consider a gen movement. You'd want it to be manual to mimic gen, Swiss makes it a lot thicker.

Chuck P
Thanks guys. I am really impressed with this watch. I think I will ride this Movt until it gives out and then hunt down a gen Swiss and pay for a full manual conversion. I think this watch is worth it. Even nicer than I expected.
