Hello guys,

Id like most of you to partecipate in helping me to choose the best rep out of these 3.

My project is to buy and then mod it, with a budget up to 1000 usd.

The 3 competitors are (from Pure Time):

- Big Bang 38mm 1:1 Ceramic Black Dial on Black Rubber Strap MIYOTA9015

-
PAM026 K 1:1 Noob Best Edition on Black Rubber Leather Strap

-
Big Bang Caviar H-Maker Full Black Ceramic Best Edition on Black Rubber Strap A2824

Help me to choose the ONE based on these factors:

- Quality of the Rep itself
- Gen-watch likeness
- Modding resources (up to 1000 usd)

I like them all, I just want to choose the one which could be the most modded and closest to the gen.

THANK YOU ALL

None of your options are likely good options for frankens IMHO. Gen parts and cost considerations will be deciding factors in a sub 1000 build. Stick with a Rolex Sub or Omega PO.

Gen Hublot and Pam parts are going to be expensive, just buy the best out of the box Pam from a TD and be happy with it; it will look very close to gen anyway, so why try and spend a load of cash when it's already there!

I specked out a Pam 055 build with rolli dial and hands and oem Pam strap and it came in under 1k. I am a Rollie guy so no Pam expert but liked the looks of Fitchs 055. There is a guide over on RWI by Ale on Pam reps that is very useful. According to many there are a few Pam "super reps" that just a oem or high end aftermarket strap would make a very nice build. Or look in sales area for one already modded.

According to Your choices get the AP Diver V7 (or maybe the AP Myota 15400) and use them out of the box. Mod with an A/R crystal if must be. Read and research Ale´s PAM guide as well and visit Panerai wristshot - sections.

Leave the modding for vintage pieces, Rolex or Panerai.
