fotoman Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 So, in that tradition, i decided to steal a banner design/ achieve inspiration from pugash Now that i have a marquee piece to show off whatta ya think? Did i do him justice?
gioarmani Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 What happened to your bambino pic?
TwoTone Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 @pho "Steal"... Nah... It's called Plagirism... There are plenty of signatures at TZ like yours & Pugs... The thing I really like about Pugs is the script he uses that rotates the pieces on every refresh... TT
fotoman Posted December 31, 2006 Author Report Posted December 31, 2006 What happened to your bambino pic? i decided to flip it back for now - What you probably didn't realize is the kid in the photo was actually me not my kid.

Did i do him justice? Your are a great guy phoband (but maybe not a great artist yet) I have always said that "great art is first and foremost provocative" and in this light your new banner is not provocative at all Your banner is nice but its more of a copy than a steal Advice: Find your own style and be happier Regards Gunnar
Pugwash Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 whatta ya think? Did i do him justice? Yay! Nice work, I approve.
Pugwash Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 The thing I really like about Pugs is the script he uses that rotates the pieces on every refresh... It's a fairly straight-forward PHP script. The clever bit is the webserver configuration that makes the forum script think it's a picture and the headers that make it uncacheable, forcing a reload every time.
