but in Ryan's description the case is 44mm whereas the gen is 42mm
I hope it's just a typo...

the caseback is wrong

they used the one  of the iw376802 IWC Aquatimer Automatic Chronograph \

the correct caseback for the IW329004 is this one

I love IWC, but these models have nothing for me. The design looks clunky and unimaginative. The aquatimer series is the big miss in the portfolio.

Totally agree.

The new Aquatimers are so much disappointing for me too, despite being fairly accurate (AR can be fixed easily, the wrong wording in the caseback is not a deal breaker for me).
Someone posted a picture on RWI and the diameter seems to be spot on (42mm, like the gen).

I wish they repped properly the old 3719 instead.

Yes, the 3719 was perfect. I had a gen titanium model that I bought for my honeymoon on 2008. I wore it all over Mexico.  I miss that one terribly.
