Exact , this is the first prototype of DW did in 2007 (NEVER SALE), that of paristoto is the first bacth of DW

Thank you so much. I know the seller was super honest. And he sold it as a DW.
Awesome feedback.
@vette63 such great info (and cool!) that you guys know of such pieces and when DW started.

On the same note I was recently offered this DW / Spinmaster 6241 and would like to know everyone's thoughts

DW Case
Spinmaster Dial / Hands
SWISS ETA 7750 converted to 7760 manual

Over aged imo. Really too bad for a nice looking watch.

@TheSociety, thanks  , This is not a dial of Spinmaster, Spin did not produce dials, but it is/was.....a modder of David (DW) , at the time of" his times gold DW", selling cases, bezel, dial, etc for a very perfect 6263 (from 2008 to 2013) then ........., very probably this was the last batch for the production of the 6263 gold, it recognizes because he expanded the diameter profile of 3 subconuter , given that assembled a 7750 , and he wanted to have gaps of 3 sub equal as if had  a V72

@paristoto thanks for feed

^yeah that's ok. that's what i meant anyway. but the diameter of the dial itself are the same between st-19 cartel and v72 based dials?

Yeah diameter are the same. I have seen a lot of good builds using ST19 movement, gen spec dials, and then just reshape case.

^yeah, my plan is to buy a cartel and just fit a v72 based dial. won't even bother with case reshape. too much work :p. thanks for the help my friend.

Here's mine

Cartel ST19 (Venus 75)

gen refinished dial

gen pushers

gen crystal

mystery hands (could be gen? Trying to get that verified)

completely reshaped case (my favorite part about this piece!)

This should be quite easy to make, there are no markers and studs on the side, the only challenge is the sunburst and the right colour dial. I can possibly ask dad to see if he can get it done in Vietnam

I may be wrong, but isn't this a 6239? I thought the 6241 was differentiated from the 6239 and defined by the acrylic bezel... Just asking for my own education. Regardless of model number, it's a fabulous looking watch!

Ha ha, thanks for the clarification-- just wanted to make sure I had it right, as it's hard enough for me to keep the jumbled information in my head in any kind of order, lol. :)
