Speedmaster

Speedmasters are notoriously inaccurate because the rep movements don't have the same sub dial spacing. There is a speedmaster with a version of the 7750 movement and reps of that might be better.

Otherwise to start an omega collection, the planet oceans are fantastic.

You've been here 6 years! You should know by now that there are no 'good' Speedmaster reps. As Sogeha has already said a Seamaster PO is a good rep to start an Omega collection, or even a Seamaster Pro - the new ceramic ones are great.

Well, I think that scaring the OP away from a Speedy because of the dial spacing is a bit over the top.    It's a significant flaw, but unless someone is taking a close look at it, who really cares?    The OP says he's looking for a cheap rep Speedy to start his collection.   He's clearly not as anal about details as many others are.

I got my Silver Snoopy Speedy this week and can't take it off!   It's a great rep, flaws and all...............

How big is the snoopy? 44mm? Was looking at the Quartz one. Couldn't find one at 41.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a cheap Speedmaster rep to start my Omega collection. Can you guys recommend anything? Many thanks.  Michael.

The quartz Speedys with two subdials and microstepper would probably be a good choice to start with. Since they don't have a small sec no one will even notice it's a quartz, and no subdial issue too.
